Pat Littlejohn joins BMC team

The following announcement was made recently on the British Mountaineering Council website:

"World renowned climber and Mountain Guide Pat Littlejohn took up the position of BMC Vice-President last weekend.

With 30+ years spent new routing and exploring the world's mountains - Pat - who is also Director of the International School of Mountaineering (ISM), brings considerable professional experience to the BMC's Board of Directors. Pat's first jobs are to assist with fund raising efforts for mountaineering expeditions and to assess applications from Area Bolt Funds for BMC purchased bolts."

Well, I just attended my first meeting (and very fascinating it was too!). I am now one of 3 BMC Vice Presidents, voluntary positions which involve (I'm told) approx 8 meetings per year and involvement in various BMC events/projects. I'm greatly looking forward to the whole thing and will keep you posted on anything of interest to ISM clients.
