Getting to Leysin

Travelling to Leysin is simple and quick from Geneva Airport with a journey time of under 2 hours. The train station is situated immediately below the airport lobby and good English is spoken at the ticket office. The train journey is very scenic and follows the shore of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman), passing Vevey, Montreux and the striking Chateau de Chillon and brings you to the town of Aigle just beyond the lake. Here you cross the platform to connect with a cog railway that goes straight up the mountainside to Leysin.
