NEW FOR 2023: Weekend Camping onsite at the Arc'teryx Climbing Academy
We are happy to announce that this year there will be camping on site for a maximum of 40 small tents (2-3person).
The campsite is situated in a field adjacent to the NT Sticklebarn which is the Arc'teryx Academy Basecamp for the weekend.
The National Trust (NT) has asked us to limit vehicular access to the campsite to Friday afternoon/evening, Saturday morning and Sunday evening/Monday morning. If you wish to use your vehicle outside of these times, you can set up camp and then park for free at the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel car park.
The car parking at the New Dungeon Ghyll will be in the a large field right next to the main road driving in. The parking will be well signposted with good access for everyone attending clinics
Unfortunately we can not offer parking for campervans. However you can park at the New Dungeon Ghyll for the weekend for £20 (please note there are no facilities here).
The price PER TENT is £60 (small 2-3 person tent) for 3 nights camping - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

There are no showers on site, but campers are welcome to use the shower facilities at the National Trust Campsite down the road (10-15min walk)
